Rubristar is a wonderful website. Their are so many different things on the internet that I never knew about. Rubristar allows you to make an accurate rubric in such a short amount of time. RubiStar helps a teacher who wants to use rubrics but does not have the time to develop them from scratch. Also with us being allowed to make free rubrics, it walks us through the tutorial of what to do and gives us a definition of what a rubric is.
I was stressed about the project until Dr. Luongo gave us this website to look at. It is very helpful, and I love it! Is their more websites out there like this one? This website is so easy to use, you just go find what kind of rubric you would like to have in your classroom and it is there, if you would like to change any text inside of the rubric teachers can go back in and change it to what they want it to be. It is very simple to use. I will be visiting this website again in the future!

Rubrics
I find rubrics to be very helpful. Rubrics always helped me all throughout school when they were used. They help the students understand what they did wrong and what they did right. Rubrics not only improve scoring consistency, they also improve validity and clarifying the standards of achievement you will use to evaluate your students. Rubrics include a reference for students to keep looking over to make sure they have everything asked in their paper or project.
Rubrics emphasize the most important content and processes of the learning target. Rubrics are also made clearer to students, then telling them what they need to do in their assignments. They also help teachers grading of assignments easier because they are going by what is their and what is missing from using the rubric. I disagree with the second video with the woman who believed that rubrics were not helpful. I am a strong believer of rubrics and would always use them on different assignments with my class.

Learning Targets
The learning target is very important to students learning. It is an expected learning outcome that is derived from an educational goal as said in the book. Learning targets focus students and teachers on the knowledge and skills intended for learning. So learning targets are based on how and what teachers would like for their students to know and understand. The teachers would then let students know what the goal is. The focus of the goal is on student achievements as well as on the learning process. Learning targets help students to understand what they are learning and what they should know at the end of the unit. This is good for students so they know what they are learning and what they should know by the end of the instructional unit.
Fairness in Assessment
I strongly believe that fairness in assessment is very important. Assessments should be fair to all types of students with diverse backgrounds, as well as students with disabilities. This is something that I always try to practice when stepping foot into a classroom, whether it is a daycare or grammar school. Their are many bias in schools also, which are tests used unfairly against a particular group of persons for a particular purpose or decision. So to examine bias now schools have a content review panel and they set judgements with particular evidences. All students should be treated fair in assessment.
